Setup Options

The GPass setup options page has four tabs shown below.

The General tab lets you set general parameters.

In particular, you can download GSafe, a companion application to GPass for data security, and specify the location of GSafe.exe here. You can also download the portable versions of Firefox and Thunderbird and enter their locations here to use with the yellow Firefox button.

The Tunnels tab lets you select a tunnel type for GPass to use. Refer to the illustration below and the Introduction and FAQ sections for more explanation. If you received a GPass server address via IM or email, you can also enter it here. If you want to use Skype or Tor as GPass channels, they must be installed and started first.

The LAN tab lets you set a LAN HTTP proxy. See  Firewall and LAN Proxy Settings for further explanation.

The Feedback tab has links to our support website and email address. In addition, it has a tool bar for you to capture network packets and send them to us for research in case of severe jamming. Refer to the FAQ for more explanation.
